Please use the following steps to install SCAN1000 Version 4.4 for use with Anville 415 units:

1. Download SCAN44.zip
2. Download 415.zip
3. Download x415_v44patch.zip
4. Unzip the downloads. For Windows XP and newer, this can be done by right clicking the file and choosing 'Extract All...'. Each file should extract to its own subdirectory.
5. Run 'setup.exe' from the SCAN44 extracted files.
6. At the 'Setup Type' step, choose 'Custom'
7. At the next step (Choose Destination Location), change the entry to C:\SCAN1000
8. Use the default settings for the rest of the installation process.
9. Access and run 'setup.exe' in the 415/disk1 subdirectory. Note the default location is C:SCAN1000
10. License SCAN1000 in the normal way as part of the installation [Note: licensing is free to users with a Hexatec support agreement]. The system will run but not all the function buttons will work correctly with v4.4.
11. Copy the files extracted from x415_v44patch.zip into C:\SCAN1000\X-415 which should already exist. Some of the patch files replace those already in the directory.

The installation should now be complete.
